The best conversations happen at the strangest times. Sunday morning 6am, with my bird @instamerel lying in bed, 2 weeks ago in Zurich.
.
What is our purpose in life? I remember philosophizing about this question already since I was very little 🐥
.
To me finding connection is one of the deepest purposes there is. Through creation we are able to spread love. Through love, we are able to connect to our deepest Self and all around us.
.
Creating is one of the biggest human gifts there is. I believe we can all create. Creating and doing what you love, actually is spreading love immediately 💫
.
When I was thrown out of social life for over a year due to a burn out, for a while I believed I could never attend any social activity anymore. Not to mention parties. The lights, the sounds, the people, it was just too overwhelming.
.
However it turned out opposite. Music, dance arts, creativity in the broadest sense made me rise up sooner than I imagined. I found connection again.
.
When I started volunteering at the Gardens last year I realized this is also part of the purpose to spread high vibes through creation 🌱
.
I wrote this text 2 weeks ago and so much has changed. Yet I feel what I wrote is even more relevant than ever. Create, express, and connect to those around you from distance. Connect in times of social distancing.
.
What connects us now may be the feeling of insecurity. A feeling of fear and not knowing what's next. I am sure we all sense that. Knowing that we all share those feelings, is exactly what connects us.
.
Try to spread a little love. Create something today. Write, draw, sing, cook, build, redecorate, whatever you like. It can be as small as preparing a new dish, or writing three lines of what makes you happy. Do so without judgement or fear, and see what happens.
.
The energy you radiate then, will ultimately affect those around you. No matter the distance.
.
Pictures are a little flashback of 2 weeks ago, where we transformed a hotel on a hill in Zurich into a dancing jungle🌴🐒. Creating memories which will have to last till at least summer 💛
