Joshua Jefferson is perhaps one of the most MULTITALENTED Bigs on the West Coast!
——
The 6'8 Forward out of Henderson, Nevada is on "Go Mode" and is showing NO signs of stopping. I was thrilled to have caught his game at the Ron Massey Memorial Tournament, running with an impressive Liberty squad out of Nevada. From the jump, Joshua established himself as one of the key players on the court by displaying some excellent defensive reads and protecting the basket whenever anyone came near the paint. Before I dive into his offensive game, I think it was important to note that throughout the game it was clear this guy is a TEAM player. With great size at 6'8 it was refreshing to see that young bigs like this are continuing to utilize fundamental moves in the paint. On multiple occasions, Joshua showcased his bag by pulling out a collection of post-spins, backdown moves, and impressive face-up maneuvers. Yet, working through the flow of the offense he was found several times playing above the three-point line and knocking down morale-boosting threes. Seriously, this kid has a really smooth jumper that will no doubt translate to the next level. The character of this humbled hooper showed in his actions the entire duration of the game. Calm, confident, and selfless are the only words that come to mind when I see a player like this. He is a coachable player that puts the well-being of the team first.

A standout basketball talent that excels both on and off the court. A team-oriented multifaceted student (of the game) that is more than willing to soak up knowledge. If you wanted to see what a next-gen student-athlete looks like, look no further than Joshua Jefferson🤞

Taking a break from the stressors to watch client and frat brother Cameron Jefferson @blindsideque do work in the @thespringleague game. Watch this play. He drives his guy from the left side to the right side and down the field. RQQ Que Dog! Time to get him back in the @nfl. Has one Super Bowl ring already with @Broncos. Looks like he's ready to get another one. @agentjr www.agentjr.com

🏀 Those hands...that 3 ball...big man with a bag full‼️ #keepworking @wodescouts:

Does a great job getting in position and using his body to score the ball around the basket. Can locate his teammates with a strong outlet pass to start the break or push the ball in transition and can knock down the open 3 ball.
.
.
Needs to be more aggressive, vocal and play with a motor on both ends of the court. That will come as he starts to develop this HS season.
