Year TWO! ✌🏼(But how did we get here so fast?) 😭 Gracie is my heart in human form. 💖 Sometimes I just look at her and feel like I’m going to explode bc I love her so dang much!!! How can one child be this full of joy and light? Be this perfect? This smart? This athletic? This beautiful? It boggles the mind. 🥹 She is fiercely independent…about everything except being further than 6 inches away from mom! 😜 She is so strong and has quite the throwing arm. She will climb up anything that can be climbed, and most things that can’t be. She jumps off of all those things, too. Fearlessly. Hockey is her very favorite word and thing! 🏒🥅 But her puppies “Nono and Mav” are a close second. Her name might be Gracie but she has definitely earned her nickname of “Feral Frannie”. She’s feisty, opinionated, fearless and hilarious. I am SO PROUD to be her mom! Thinking about how exponentially she has learned and grown from a year ago is wild! And she is always so full of joy!
I would do it all again…the IVF, the preeclampsia, the NICU stay, etc…to get this front row seat to her exploring the world. And to hear that little voice saying “Mommy!” as she runs toward me. We love you SO BIG, Gracie girl!! Happy 2nd Birthday! 🎂 🎀

Happy birthday to our guy! I am so thankful you’re here with us. I’m so impressed by how hard you work to be the best version of yourself for me, Gracie, and your team. I have never met anyone who works harder at bettering themself than you. Thank you. You are so passionate and care more about your people than anyone could ever understand. I have loved watching you shine as head coach this year. You pour your heart and soul in to your team and those boys are so lucky to have you at the helm. We are so proud of you! We love you. We’re so glad youre here to celebrate today! 💖🥅🏒🎁🎈🎂

What a weekend back at @blazersicecentre after a month and a half of road games! 🧡🖤 Gracie’s first Post-Game Skate with her big bros! 🥹😭 Tied the franchise record for highest scoring game. 🥅 Sold out crowd Sat night and close on Fri. 🏒 Lots of fun visitors. And, of course, my two worlds colliding when @angelarealtorokc had her watch party for the @theamericandreamtv episode she did about the Warriors. 📺 She did such an excellent job talking about the culture of our team and what @mick_berge is building here!! We had so much fun hanging out that day and filming all the segments. Thankful she chose the @okwarriors_nahl to feature…and what a fun group of friends she had to come to her watch party in our suite!!! 🫶🏼 My heart is so full this weekend. Love our hockey fam! 🧡🖤

Our future Disney on Ice and/or PWHL star took her first lap around the frozen stage in her own skates today!!! ⛸️ 🏒 (Although, we had her on the ice for the first time when she was just two weeks old.) Mick and I have both been dreaming of this day our whole lives and it was so much fun to finally watch it happen. And she did so great!! 🤩 🥹 🫶🏼
And before yall call CPS on us….of course our little “Feral Frannie” was gonna do things her way, which is why she’s out there in just her diaper. 😅 Only time she cried today was when I tried to put pants on her. Maybe she’ll be a figure skater afterall…hockey requires too many clothes. 🤣🤣 #diaperonice

Getting your 13 mo old velcro baby to sit alone for a passport photo when she hasn’t napped requires some creativity 😅 🤪 … as well as bribing her with snacks, toys, and mom playing Elmo on the phone in front of her while the Walgreens employee snaps the pic over her shoulder. But we did it!!
