My thoughts on Minnesota 😔🧊

The place I was born and raised. A place that I’ve called home my whole life… It’s scary to see our neighbors living in fear. It hurts my soul, seeing my loved ones being emotionally affected.

This is the moment that I speak up, and use my platform to stand for those whose families are being torn apart. To those who have lost their lives. It’s one thing to see the headlines and observe from your devices. But it’s another to WITNESS, and FEEL what’s going on. It hits different when it’s happening right in front of your eyes.

The SHYFTER MOVEMENT has always been about compassion… it’s about breaking FREE from limitations. With what’s happening around ICE in Minneapolis right now, I think it’s important to ask ourselves…

How do we fight for the dignity of those whose voices are being silenced? How do we stand up, and protect the ones who cannot protect themselves…?

Our final arts fest at the house was nothing short of magic. Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, performed, vended, and celebrated with us. You made this last event in our home unforgettable.

As we close this chapter, we’re already dreaming up the next one. We’ll be transitioning into a new space in time — stay tuned for our upcoming GoFundMe and ways to support!
