178 miles. One mission. 💙🏃‍♂️

This weekend, our Reno Tahoe Odyssey team gave everything they had for Eric and axeALS.

Through every climb, every mile, and every sleepless hour, these incredible runners showed what it means to run with purpose. They ran for those who can’t. They ran to raise awareness. They ran to help bring us one step closer to a world without ALS.

The miles were tough, but their commitment was tougher. They left everything out on the course, completing all 178 miles with heart, grit, and determination. (& we think under 24 hours!!!)

We couldn’t be more proud of this team and the countless hours of training, sacrifice, and dedication they put in to make this journey possible. Thank you for carrying the axeALS mission forward and for showing up in such a powerful way for Eric and the entire ALS community.

Together, we keep moving forward. Together, we keep fighting. 💙

Meet Zach Micks — longtime friend of Eric since their Pop Warner football days in 7th grade. From growing up together to now raising families of their own, their friendship has come full circle. As a dad of two daughters, Zach says running reminds him to lead by example and show them the value of doing hard things. This year marks his second Reno Tahoe Odyssey with Team axeALS, and we’re proud to have him bringing that same determination and heart to the fight against ALS. #axeALS #RTO2026 #EndALS
