Safety and wellness always come first when training elderly, especially personnel with conditions.

Conventional strength training such has bench press, deadlift squats are great, proven to make you stronger , and enhance longevity, giving you strength to support your daily routine.

But it’s important not to forget controlling and being stable in your movement are equally important to prevent injuries as well.

So other than strength training, teaching your body to control and balance yourselves is a crucial component to make you stronger and much more alert to your environment.

So don’t forget to include unilateral and balancing drills into your training routine. You might surprise it could improve your performance drastically.

🇲🇾 Malaysia Pilates Instructors Class
It was a truly memorable and enjoyable session, built around both the movement program I had prepared and the specific exercises that you were particularly eager to learn.

MW Pilates x Pickleball 2026 — Recap 💚

What an unforgettable day!
Thank you to every single one of you who showed up, moved with us, and stayed till the end — even under the hot sun ☀️ Your energy and support truly meant the world to us.

We feel incredibly grateful to be able to organise this event, and it was extra special as this was the first time Sandakan Golf & Country Club hosted a private wellness-sport collaboration event like this. Thank you to the golf club for the warm support and venue.

A huge appreciation to all our sponsors and supporters who made this possible:
Unwind Café, President Henry, Captain Raymond, Nelson for the coconuts, and Fu Yan 福燕for the bird’s nest.
Your generosity helped us create such a meaningful experience for everyone.

This event reminded us why we love what we do — bringing people together to move, laugh, and prioritise health as a community.
And this is only the beginning… next year, we’re going even bigger!

Thank you for being part of the MW Pilates family.
We can’t wait to see you again in our classes, workshops, and future events. Let’s keep moving together 💚
