A Taco Connoisseur’s Guide to DFW

It’s National Taco Day, and as a self-proclaimed taco connoisseur, I feel obligated to share my favorites.

Here’s my top 10:

Mi Cocina — Redfish tacos or street tacos. Decisions are hard.

Esparza’s in Grapevine — Soft cheese tacos covered in queso. Yes, they absolutely belong on this list.

La Hacienda Ranch — Brisket and cheese tacos. Apparently, I have room in my heart for more than one cheese taco.

Anamia’s — Tacos a la Mexicana with slow-roasted brisket, poblano peppers and onions. This is my order.

Cristina’s — Birria tacos with consommé for dipping. Don’t skip the dip.

Marty B’s in Bartonville — Brisket tacos, plus a breakfast taco stop at Marty B’s Coffee. Breakfast deserves a place on the list, too.

Chuy’s — Soft chicken tacos. A side of Creamy Jalapeño is a must.

El Fenix — Street tacos. Couldn’t leave this favorite out.

Save this for your next DFW taco run—and help me build the ultimate taco list. Comment with your favorite DFW taco spot and your go-to order. Tag a taco lover who needs to weigh in, too!

Follow me for more DFW food finds, local favorites and delicious research.

Next up: my top 5 margaritas in DFW. Somebody has to do the research.

Your next Dallas taco stop? Depends on the neighborhood. 🌮

You know I love a good neighborhood guide—and this one comes with chips and salsa. 😉

In honor of National Taco Day, I’m rounding up taco spots by Dallas neighborhood so you can find a spot close to home or make a little adventure out of dinner.

Swipe to find your neighborhood, save this for your next taco craving, and send it to the friend who’s always up for tacos. 🙋🏻‍♀️

Where’s your go-to Dallas taco spot? Tell me in the comments—I’m always adding to my list!

September took us places—and thankfully, we showed up hungry.

From the food scenes of Jackson Hole, Wyoming to Los Cabos, Mexico, we found some seriously memorable spots this month. Dallas and Monterey delivered a few standouts of their own, and even a quick overnight close to home in Visalia managed to earn a place on our September favorites list.

Turns out, a great meal can be worth the trip—or waiting just down the road.

Here’s what we ate—and loved—in September.
