what a summer! this was my favorite season by far and I’m so honored to have spent it with two of the best media teams in the activity. I got to experience both Adrian and Laramie for the first time, worked with some incredibly talented folks, and took some decent photos here and there along the way.
many thanks to @brandon.shoots and @christinastevvmedia, y’all set the standard for dci media. can’t wait for next year!

I’m thinking the only way to get AI out of DCI is to shoot everything on film.

Here are some drum corps photographs on 120 and 35mm from the past couple of years.

If I had a sponsor for film developing and scanning, I’d shoot an entire season on film.

uprooting my life to march one last season was one of the hardest decisions of my life but I couldn’t have imagined a more fulfilling ending. I feel so privileged to have been part of such a special group and experience. thank you to everyone who made everything worth it.

thank you for everything rcc. this was a dream come true and it was so much better and so much more fun than i already envisioned it to be. this group has some of the nicest people i have ever met and some of the most caring people i have ever met. i was very intimidated going into rcc but everyone made me feel so happy and truly made me feel like i belonged here. thank you to the rest of the pit, i love you all and loved spending every friday at canes and loved bugging all of you during every water break (daniel and alex got the most of it lol). thank you to this amazing rythym section for always working together and for being able to put out such a fire etude. thank you to my amazing girlfriend for always being there for me and motivating me to push through. thank you to all my staff for believing in me and granting me this opportunity. also thank you mario for being my lifeline all season 🙏. thank you for everything rcc🐯🧡 #rooroo

3 years ago, in 2023 at the WGI Power Regional, I remember watching RCC’s show, Home. From that day I told myself that I would not stop working until I made it into RCC. This season I have made myself the most proud I have ever been. I lived my dream of being on the RCC marimba line right out of high school.

It’s hard to put into words my feelings about this group but I am devastated that I will never be able to march with this group of people, in this uniform, and with this show, ever again. My rookie season at RCC could not have been more perfect.
