Two words..bitter sweet.
In the military there are a few ranks you look at and know the amount of respect that comes with that rank because of the sacrifices they have given to achieve it.
This weekend I was blessed to reach one of those ranks. Sergeant First Class, is a rank that not a lot of individuals achieve throughout their time in the Army. As I was pinned and surrounded by family, friends, peers, and recruits from our Alpha Company formation I thought back to the amount of trials, and tribulations I’ve over come to get here. It was never easy, but I never stopped working hard and I never let my current circumstances dictate my future.
To my wife and daughters, thank you for always supporting me and being there even in times when I physically could not. Thank you for understanding that I do what I can to better our future and give you a better like while also trying to impact those around me and this world so it can be just a little bit better as you get closer to going out on your own. I love you, and hope you know that you are the reason I push so hard daily.
To my parents, I hope that you see that your sacrifices when we were kids weren’t for nothing. Those good times and bad times I embrace because it’s made me who I am today.
To my in laws, sister-in-law’s , and brother-in-law thank you for your endless support throughout the hard times for my family when I’d have to leave. You being there helped me focus because I knew my girls had a support system while I am alway. I appreciate you all more than you know and this promotion couldn’t have been possible without your endless support for me and my family.
To my mentors, thank you for helping mold me to the leaders, husband, and father I am today. I try consistently to ensure that your efforts and legacy continue through the leadership that your provided me through selfless service and servant leadership. It was a blessing to serve under all off you.
To my current leadership, peers, and recruits..thank you for this opportunity to serve in this capacity. I know I am not perfect, but I will continue to grow as a person and leader to build our organization and formation.

A big special happy birthday to my little sister @aby_.bee‼️ 21 years old and time to get chocolate wasted🤪 I love you so much and super proud of everything you have done thus far and everything I know you will continue to accomplish! You’re a goofy, two left foot having loser but god blessed us with you to make our days brighter and to make us laugh when we need it! Keep being that strong independent person you are and strive for nothing but the best life for yourself like you have been! Few more months and you’ll be the first to graduate college, you’ve accomplished a lot in your military career and who knows what’s next! I have been able to maintain a 4.0 gpa since starting college! With that I received this letter in the mail informing me that I have been nominated into the National Honor Society! 🙏🏼
Shout out to my friends and family supporting me through college with my already crazy schedule! Biggest shout out to my wife for being my rock and encouraging me to go back to school! Work hard, and things will always come back full circle at one point in time! Through all the craziness going on in the word focus and accomplish things one task at a time!

FIscal Year 2022 was one for the books! Lots of recognition and awards on Team Wolfpack and I brought home four! This would not be possible without to god, my family (highlight my beautiful wife who supported and pushed me), and my leadership and office partners/team! Above all my current recruits who are home and at training who trusted me to take care of their process and career! To my current applicants you best believe you’re in great hands! Lastly to the teachers, and Buckeye city officials and all those who allow my team and I to share our stories and help make a difference in people’s lives! THIS is the year you take control of your life and your future. THIS is the year everything starts going the way you anticipated. THIS is the year you declare with your mouth, visualize in your mind, and fufill with your actions. THIS is the year for you. THIS is the year you thrive with me so we can all head in a positive direction, with all the support we have from eachother, things will happen.
