Hallmarc Aviation is proud to support the @microflite.group investment in two @tecnam_aircraft P2012 STOL aircraft for its Par Avion tourism operations in Tasmania.

This milestone will bring the number of P2012 aircraft in Australia to seven and further demonstrates the aircraft’s growing role in Australian regional and remote operations. Purpose-built for short runways and demanding environments, the P2012 STOL is ideally suited to connecting passengers with Tasmania’s spectacular Southwest wilderness.

As Tecnam’s Australian representative, Hallmarc Aviation is pleased to have facilitated this acquisition and looks forward to supporting Microflite Group and Par Avion as the new aircraft enter service.

Congratulations to the teams at Microflite Group, Par Avion and Tecnam on this exciting next chapter.

VH-VJB | Lifesaver 30 | Barwon Heads, Victoria

Operating as Lifesaver 30, Microflite’s VH-VJB is captured conducting a hoist-training exercise off the Barwon Heads coastline in Victoria.

VH-VJB is a Eurocopter EC135 P2+, part of the helicopter family now marketed by Airbus as the H135. This twin-engine helicopter is well suited to specialist operations requiring precise handling and close coordination between the flight crew and rescue personnel.

These photographs document multiple stages and angles of the hoist-training exercise, including the controlled lowering and recovery of a rescue crew member over the ocean. As part of the training, the pilot also performed a low-level hover just a few feet from the rocks. Together, the images demonstrate the precision, coordination and operational discipline required for helicopter winch operations in demanding maritime environments.
