POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The last time @thatsdijahhhh was on Mic’d Up Wit Muda, she had everyone talking after saying if you missed her birthday, the friendship was over.

Now, a year later, we’re revisiting that conversation.

Has time changed her perspective? Is maturity about changing your mind or simply being willing to hear the other person’s side before making a final decision?

What’s your take? Could one conversation save a friendship? 👇🏾

On this episode of Mic’d Up Wit Muda (@micupwitmuda), I linked up with @durell_x and we talked about the friendships and influences that helped shape his life.

Growing up, he witnessed things no child should have to see and experienced challenges that could’ve easily sent him down a different path. But one friendship changed everything. What started as a friendship became a brotherhood, and eventually his friend’s family welcomed him in as one of their own.

He shared how his best friend @dead_grass taught him lessons most people learn at home from basic discipline and accountability to how to carry himself as a young man. Looking back, those experiences helped shape the man he is today and inspired his purpose of helping others through mentorship, service, and fostering children.

On this episode of Mic’d Up Wit Muda (@micupwitmuda), I linked up with @boogieotw, a coach for the @rialtohawks and substitute teacher who’s passionate about helping young people reach their full potential.

Whether he’s in the classroom or on the field, his mission is the same: helping kids develop discipline, accountability, and structure. He believes the lessons learned through sports can impact every area of a young person’s life.

Coach Boogi shared that he’s simply trying to pass on the knowledge and guidance he was blessed to receive. He also gave credit to Kenny Clark and the team at @altusdreamsacademy for creating a space where coaches and mentors can continue pouring into the next generation.

On this episode of Mic’d Up Wit Muda (@micupwitmuda) ,I linked with Coach Watts (@coachc.watts / @__esso09) and asked him why he continues to coach and mentor young athletes.

For the past few years, he’s dedicated his time to helping kids develop through football, teaching them discipline, structure, accountability, and the importance of working together. But to him, it’s always been bigger than the game itself.

Coach Watts believes football can help shape future leaders, whether they become athletes, doctors, lawyers, engineers, or entrepreneurs. Some coaches aren’t just teaching football—they’re teaching kids what they wish they knew sooner.

On this episode of Mic’d Up Wit Muda (@micupwitmuda), I linked @kclarkjr_ of the Dallas Cowboys and asked him why giving back to the community is so important to him.

Beyond football, Kenny is investing in the next generation through Altus Dreams Academy in Rialto and his annual youth football camp at Carter High School. His goal is to create opportunities, provide guidance, and give young people a place to learn, grow, and compete.

When I asked him what he would tell his younger self, his answer was simple: keep working. No matter what adversity you’re facing, keep pushing forward. The dream isn’t just making it out… it’s reaching back so the next generation can too.

On this episode of Mic’d Up Wit Muda (@micupwitmuda ), I was getting my hair done and we ended up having a real conversation about clients, time, and respect.

@kings_societyy said something that might ruffle a few feathers. In her experience, men tend to be more on time, less argumentative, and more understanding when it comes to pricing and deposits.

On the other hand, she feels like a lot of women don’t respect the time the same way showing up late, questioning prices, or not taking policies seriously. Her conclusion? She’d rather deal with male clients unless it’s referral only.

Now that raises the real question…
Is it actually about gender? Or is it about professionalism and accountability , Because at the end of the day, time is money — #no matter who’s in the chair.

Let’s talk about it 👇🏾

On this episode of Mic’d Up Wit Muda, I tapped in with @kings_societyy and this one might ruffle some feathers.

She basically said straight up if a man starts off going 50/50, don’t expect him to magically turn into a provider later. No switch up. No upgrade. What you see is what you get. if she’s going 50/50 with a man, that’s not her man that’s a roommate. No benefits. No extras. Just vibes and bills.

Her logic?
If he didn’t show up fully in the beginning, why are you expecting full effort when life gets real

Now flip it…
Are women expecting too much? Or are men getting too comfortable doing the bare minimum?

y’all rocking with 50/50 or nah? 👀
