WE DID IT!! 🎳💜

Still trying to find the words to describe how grateful we are for everyone who showed up, donated, shared a post, bought a ticket, supported as a sponsor, or helped spread the word about Strike Out Rett with Zoe.

What started as an idea to bring our community together for Zoe has turned into something so much bigger than we could have imagined. We SURPASSED our original GoFundMe goal, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without all of you. 🥹💜

The love and support shown not only for Zoe, but for the entire Rett syndrome community, is something we will never take for granted. Every conversation, every share, every donation, and every person who showed up reminded us that we are not in this alone.

And we’re not done yet! 💜

We’re keeping our GoFundMe open through the end of October for Rett Syndrome Awareness Month. Next weekend, October 17, we’ll be attending our very first Rett Strollathon, where we’ll make our first donation from a portion of the funds raised so far to support the Rett community and the work being done to move research forward.

If we continue to raise funds through the end of October, we’ll make an additional donation, allowing us to keep the momentum going beyond our event.

This is so much bigger than one fundraiser. It’s about raising awareness, supporting research, creating hope for families like ours, and fighting for a better future for Zoe and everyone living with Rett syndrome.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for showing up for Zoe, for our family, and for this community. We are so incredibly blessed to have you all in our corner. There truly aren’t enough words. 💜

We struck out Rett together, and this is only the beginning. 🎳💜

Prototype is out now 🧬 This song is a first in many ways for me. It’s my first time touching on the topic of my trauma and grief, and the self discovery I’m undergoing for the first time in my life as a result of it all.

Writing about the real shit, this raw stuff, has been helping me heal. Helping me form a better relationship with myself. Thanks for helping me build a safe space for me and for you through music.

Hearts up to @bretthartt and @micwest - we got in a room together and this song came out like a sneeze. Pride and gratitude ❤️‍🔥
