Day 6
Day trip down to Nara park to see the shika (deer), gotta be quick with the crackers or they'll swarm you 🤣
Visited Tōdai-ji Daibutsuden, the great Buddha hall with the biggest sculptures ive ever seen, the temple main hall itself is one of the world's largest wooden structures!
The rain hammered down nearer the end of the day and so we headed back to Kyoto for our last night there
Finished it off with pachinko once we semi figured how tf to use the machine 😅, drinks and karaoke

Day 4
Last day in Osaka
Visited the Kaiyukan Aquarium, it was so cool!
Then went onto Spa world and into Nipponbashi den den town, so many shops I didn't know where to look
Had some fun in the batting cages before making way back to hotel via a small izakaya

Onto Kyoto next

Day 2 of Japan
Went to @rushball music festival in Osaka!

Strictly no filming or photography of acts allowed in the venue so got next to nothing today, however it changed the whole vibe of it, noone on their phones filming just enjoying the moments

I can say as music festivals go it is a whole league above anything in the UK.
Hospitality was insanely good, atmosphere was great, no queues whatsoever for food/drinks and toilets and also cheap

Managed to see a few bands which have featured in various anime soundtracks etc. SiM, Creepy nuts, Shinsei Kammatechan

Very long hot day but an amazing experience

@retroridesofficial Gathering what a blast of a weekend!
Long 5½hr drive up with @sammyscim @mid_night_fd , 300+ miles in a rattly tintop
Had an amazing time going up @prescottspeedhillclimb , car sounded amazing and handled it well imo despite being on soft road tyres

Just some clips and pics of the weekend 😎
Probably the last show for the 86 this year, got a list of things and upgrades for winter 👌
Onboard to follow up

Weekend of the year @retroridesevents weekender!!

Great catchup with likewise people and also putting names to faces

Absolutely thrashed the 86 so short sprint laps was pretty ideal, exhaust decided to rattle loose on the lart session and new brake pads were shite 🤣.
Big thanks to @jonesy850 for sorting me some repair materials and @wonky95 for safety wheel aha

Big up @kentishuk always a laugh, stand was cool shame the weather had other plans

Got a few pics here and there, others tagged 😎

Best day at Brands Hatch!

First time out in the 86 since its heart transplant and big engine bay makeover, my god it's so much fun and a real noise maker when driven hard

Some last minute support mods I fitted literally the night before like oil cooler and gauges
I must've done around 100 laps doing passenger rides and such, car never missed a beat 👌

Had been a while since getting out on track but had a great laugh with mates, also thanks to @justincandr for letting me take the MG out!

Go Japan 2025 was my first time visiting was certainly an experience. Mixing with different Japanese cars. Additional time in the drifting and racing was so brilliant.
