☕️✨ LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Middlemist

If you’re looking for a new spot to grab your morning coffee, get some work done, or simply slow down and enjoy a good drink, add Middlemist to your Somerville list🤎
Opened in April by friends Ilija, Caleb & Ryan, Middlemist was created with the idea of building a welcoming community space where people could gather, connect, and stay awhile. What started from a friendship formed at Rutgers eventually grew into something they brought to life right here in Downtown Somerville. ✨

Today, their space has expanded into a full-service coffee shop, serving espresso drinks, lattes, specialty coffees, teas, hot chocolate, and more. Their honey-inspired drinks are especially fun to try! 🍯☕️

It’s more than just a coffee stop — it’s a place to meet a friend, catch up, get some work done, or simply enjoy a little piece of Somerville. 🌿

NOW ON DOORDASH 👀☕️

@middlemistcoffee is one of Somerville’s newer coffee spots, with their coffee bar opening in late July / early August - and you can now order for pickup or delivery through DoorDash 🤎

We tried:
🤍 Honey Nut Latte
🤍 Pumpkin Pie Latte
🤍 S’mores Latte
🤍 Baklava Latte
🤍 Blueberry Matcha

My favorites were the iced Honey Nut Latte with vanilla honey cold foam + the Blueberry Matcha made with ceremonial matcha 🫐🍵

The hospitality here was incredible, and the space itself is beautiful - tons of greenery, a spacious interior, plenty of seating + outlets, and WiFi available.

📍 30 E Main St, Somerville, NJ 08876
🚗 Search “Middlemist Coffee” on DoorDash for pickup + delivery

📌 Save this for your next Somerville coffee run!

Thank you @middlemistcoffee for having me in 🤎

C’mon in, honey 🍯 👋

@middlemistmead is one of the newer faces on the block in Downtown Somerville. This concept was co-founded by three @rutgersu friends turned business partners who were inspired after perfecting their home-brewing method.

If you haven’t tried mead before, this is the place to get a taste. It’s lightly sweet & has a richer body compared to grape-based wines due to the honey’s viscosity. I highly recommend trying their cider on tap as well.

During the day, Middlemist is now serving café fare. 😮 Will have to go back to try their seasonal specials & signature honey nut latte.

A great alternative to the typical neighborhood brewery!
