I said what I said. 😎

With everything being said about generative AI in music, from the head of @recordingacademy to the very gifted musicians quietly or loudly taking money from @suno or building whole albums on @trebloapp, people keep saying the train has left the building.

They’re forgetting one major thing: humans are the actual input.
We are the AI.
Still.

I have about 40 songs that showed up in the libraries reported on @theatlantic’s AI Watchdog site. That means my whole repertoire was likely used to train these music generative apps.

Nothing is going to make me believe these LLMs are going to take away live performance, or the need for people to actually get together.

And if you’re a musician who needs something you don’t have: just fucking ask another musician.
That’s the mission.

It’s collaborative.

Music is the Magic, as Abbey Lincoln wrote.

Thank you to the @midem.official for handing me a microphone. I am available for all cultural discussions by the way. 🎤🪩❤️

✨ A little nostalgia moment… ✨

Throwback to when our Season 4 students who we already miss so much stepped into the world of MIDEM 🎶

But what is MIDEM? It’s an international gathering for the music and entertainment industry, bringing together creators, professionals, companies..

Because being part of TV Content Creation means more than classes: it means access to festivals, congresses, networking opportunities, and exclusive industry experiences throughout the year. 🎥
