The love and support I’ve received is impossible to put into words. And I didn’t even have to ask for it. Loved, surrounded, encouraged, supported, sustained…thank you, thank you for showing up. And this isn’t even the half is it - cards, phone calls, texts, meals, flowers…my heart is forever changed. Thank you for loving me and for teaching me how to show up. #loved #support #friendship #compassion #courage #wholeagain #lifeafterdivorce @lesliegrass @annechytrausjensen @sail_chasing_stars @christinepollard @rwilley33 @willey_douglas @brookemckinleyrowe

Today, I celebrated 52 YEARS on this glorious planet. How could I be anything other than GRATEFUL for the privilege of growing old?! Here’s to many more WRINKLES, more ADVENTURES, more NATURE, Friendships old and new, Holiday traditions, more love, laughter, learning, growing, sssstttrrrrreeeetttccchhhhing, more FUN, more travel, culture, more YOU. Because if you’re here, YOU MATTER. You won’t see me “defying” my age as I grow older, you’ll see me embracing it. It’s a privilege denied to many. Don’t be afraid of a number. They’re called, “The golden years,” for a reason.
