As always, I am the most productive when I’m writing outside the house. And when my writing sprints are broken up by FANTASTIC music??? Even better. This group seriously is amazing, so writing and watching them was the perfect way to spend a Saturday night.

What happens when two Disney performers gather some of Central Florida’s talented singers and give them a gothic makeover? 👻🎶

Local husband-and-wife duo Rebecca and Kyle Graae are the creators of The Midnight Drearies, a gothic vocal ensemble featuring some seriously talented Central Florida singers.

Catch them at Judson’s Live on October 27, with shows at 7 and 9 p.m. 🎃

10/10 would recommend your friend finding a new Victorian gothic Halloween acapella group on Instagram and then realizing they're performing at Disney Springs and planning a whole themed outing around the spooky vibes and fall flavors (OMG the caramel apple chai latte at Joffrey's, my soul left my body. I got 2. 😅) around Hangar Bar and the new Six Ravens handpies, then tracking down said @midnightdrearies and accidentally becoming an instant superfan. 😂
The Society of Tea and Knives for Feral Ladies temporarily became The Coven for the night, and we all understood the assignment. 😉 Love you ladies!!

So this is my new favorite thing....
@midnight.drearies are performing at Disney Springs every Saturday night from now to Halloween, and my goodness, were they were every bit as good - and better - in person than I expected! If you get the chance to see them there - or ar Judson's at the Dr. Phillips Center! - go, go, go! 👻🎃🕸🐦‍⬛
Happy Spoopy Season, everyone!
(And make sure you know the words to The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe and you too can become their new best friend! 😄)
New October tradition unlocked, for sure!! Love love love!
