Yes, that’s correct, my guest this week has a banjo in his photo! He’s also played both banjo and guitar for the high powered @midnightrunbluegrass and yes, he won the 2026 national Mandolin championship this year at Winfield (and second place in guitar)! We had a great chat this week all about mandolin and beer!!! Thanks to @anthonyhowellmusic for a great chat! Check it out!!

An unmissable night of Bluegrass, acoustic instrument mastery and gorgeous harmonies.
Seth Mulder & Midnight Run was born in the holler of Tennessee’s first legal moonshine distillery, where the spirit of tradition still runs strong. Since forming in 2018, the band has been on a mission to blend the roots of traditional bluegrass with the energy of modern performance, crafting a sound that is both deeply authentic and refreshingly original.

With genuine songwriting, tasteful arrangements, and a knack for breathing new life into forgotten covers, the band combines elements of bluegrass, classic country, and folk music in a way that resonates with both traditionalists and new audiences alike. Their high-energy live shows have taken them across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, earning them a reputation as one of the most exciting young acts on the bluegrass circuit today.

Australian line-up
Seth Mulder- Mandolin & Vocals,
Carter Lester - Guitar & Vocals,
Anthony Howell - Banjo & Vocals,
Joe Sharp - Bass & Vocals.

A little bit of vintage, a little bit of lace, and a whole lot of partying for Devin and Isaac’s incredible day. This is just the sneak peek and I can’t wait to see the full gallery!! So many intentional details were designed throughout the invites and day-of items and I just love how it all turned out 💕

I’ve designed for hundreds of clients since starting S&B, but this was the first time I was able to post using audio from a client’s recorded song!! How cool is that?! @49winchester needs to come to Baltimore on the tour next 👀

🎻 If you’re spending an evening in Gatlinburg, don’t rush back to your hotel.

One of my favorite things to do is grab a seat at Ole Smoky, listen to some live bluegrass, and just enjoy the atmosphere. No admission, no schedule to keep—just great music, good company, and a true Smoky Mountain vibe.

Question for everyone: What’s your favorite place in Gatlinburg to catch live music? Is it Ole Smoky, Ole Red, Jason Aldean’s, Tom & Earl’s, or somewhere else?

Drop your favorite spot in the comments—you might help someone discover their new favorite place! 🎶🏔️
