I finished another half marathon in San Francisco!!!

Happy marathon racing day! Since I finish my half marathon in San Francisco this summer, I felt little painful and feel doubtful that what fast speed that I would run in the next time including @runcim262 coming up next month. Before, I intended to register 20miles run in American River in Sacramento, but I would race @goldengatehalf instead.

Why I would do half marathon race for training full marathon? Since I did 15 miles in @fleetfeetdavis last month, my leg cannot get best performance since many race lead to unprecedented stress. Running can help me reduced the upsetting feeling, but it is temporary. And 20 miles race will extremely tired if I try to be like an elite. Last year @runcim262 did worse, due to sudden cramp on leg before finish line. And this time would get the steady pace during CIM race, although today has ended all world marathon majors were concluded.

No matter what unpredictable situation, I would try my run faster full marathon with steady pace is key purpose for next month full.

So I would thank @nthdegreeac @midnightrunnerssf @marinarunclub_sf @nbrcsf and @unseenrunclub to run for a half marathon in Golden Gate Bridge today!

And congrats @mamaxruns her pb on half marathon today!

And congratulations @calcalamia @this.jvstin and @trackclubbabe on @nycmarathon today!

Spartacus. Caesar. Superman. Cape Man. However the people of Sacramento remember me, hopefully it’s while thinking about the Roman Empire ⚔️

Despite headwinds, torrential down pour, and sections of ankle deep water, this 12 hours (and 47 annoying seconds) and 140.6 miles of movement was about as fun as could be thanks to an amazing roaming cheer squad made up of real family, chosen family, and @midnightrunnerssf family 📣🖤

Biggest of Thank You’s go out to everyone who contributed to my fundraiser in support of the Ironman Foundation. Whether the donation was incentive-based or not, you got me to the Start line & impacted a stranger’s life in the process 🫶🏽

Like the spectator at Mile 15 of the run said, “that guy is way too happy right now.” Still am.

🥇 Best dressed
🥇 1st place in the “bikes over 30 lbs & under $1,000” division
🥈 2nd highest fundraiser

And with that, I submit my retirement from triathlons 🫡
