so, i’m hosting a gig?
me and @midymag are hosting an IWD event raising money for endometriosis uk!!

exactly a year ago i had my diagnostic laparoscopy, so announcing this event feels very full circle for me - yet despite the time, women’s health is so severely under researched and advocated for.

more than 1 in 7 women have been diagnosed with endometriosis ; that’s 176+ million women worldwide. endo effects millions of people across the globe yet it is still massively underfunded, under researched and under-taught.

so many people suffer in silence for years before being believed or taken seriously. women’s health is too often dismissed ; that needs to change.

I spent this summer working as festival assistant at the stunning @supersonic_fest ⚡️— getting the opportunity to be apart of the small team that makes such an exciting and well rounded festival happen was insane and i feel very lucky.

they were also kind enough to let me get creative myself and craft a zine of my festival interviews, photos, thoughts & feelings, allowing me to champion some of this years female and non-binary artists (there may be an opportunity to get ur hands on one🤝)

huge thankyou to @youthmusicuk for creating this opportunity and others like it for young people in the music industry and another to @supersonic_fest for looking after me - if you haven’t checked either them out, you really should xo

Saturday was particularly special. It was great to share the stage with so many talented women in celebration of International Women’s Day. Thank you to everyone that came to enjoy the night with us all and a very big thank you to @midymag for putting together such a strong line up and overall wicked night.
