When life gets hard, business gets tough, and shit just isn’t going your way, put your head down and go to work. Focus on what you can control, and let the rest take care of itself.
•
If you’re truly passionate about something, you have to be obsessed with the process. Not just the wins, the recognition, or the end goal, but the early mornings, the sacrifices, the setbacks, and the days nobody sees.
•
Become so obsessed with your goals that people think you’re fucking weird. Who cares what they think? Don’t take advice from people who don’t have what you want. Stay in your lane, trust your vision, and keep working until the results speak for themselves.
•
Fuck the setbacks. Dig deeper, work harder, and become so damn relentless that nothing can keep you from becoming the person you know you’re capable of being.
•
The goal is the vision.
•
The process is the price.
•
Now go fucking earn it.

2 years with @s2faction - vid edition

A year ago I was asking everyone I could about improving time management. Working part time and being a full time doctorate student was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

I was watching coworkers win awards and make excuses to myself that it would never be me because they aren’t in grad school like me

On the other hand I was watching classmates get better grades than me and making the same excuse telling myself well they don’t work as much as me

Then I sat and thought well by this logic I’ll just be mediocre at everything I do

That’s just not how I’m wired. Truth is time management is a facade. You get results or you don’t. Now I’m working more than I ever have and getting the best GPA I’ve gotten since I’ve started. I want to win at every single thing I do. I want to win at work. I want to win at school. I want to win in my future practice. Shit I want to win tic tac toe.

Just like anything in life there’s ups and downs to it all , but through trial and error I’m figuring this life stuff out. Beyond grateful for the people that god has surrounded me with that don’t only show me the way but want to see me win as well.

10 months of pretty exceptional progress from one of my younger guys on roster Henderson Brant @midzeek. Hendy weighed 167 lbs on the left back in September, and we’re finishing out our second growth phase together in the low 180s. Next for us will be a health phase, another round of labs (this kid keeps unbelievably healthy), and then we’ll sneak in one more brief push up before we take him into St Louis next spring. Gonna be a deadly dude 💯
