Planned a party for the child but of course I tore my ACL. I cannot stop birthday celebrations just because I am unwell right. So I guess we went ahead mid-move, mid-recovery (actually not even near). Mainly because we know the people around us will rise up to the occasion and help all the time 🥹🥹🥹 Her last single-digit birthday 🎂 & next year we would all hit 10 years of parenthood for me & childhood for her🥲 I rmb her poolside party just a few years back. 🎶🎶 MIKS' FAVE LYRICS MIXTAPE (BUT LIKE AS A ZINE) 🎶🎶 the zine title makes sense when u say it out loud ok. anyway my fave lyrics mixtape zine will be dropping on 31 jan at @renfairesg ! so here's some sneak peeks!! the baby possums are helping to proofread (i swear I'm not breaking child labor laws) the mikstape zine is a collection of personal writings and illustrations reflecting on 10 songs with lyrics i love and adore, and thinking about their impact on me. it's 16 pages, cover to cover, of yappin and artwork!! yelling straight from my heart and the remnants of my soul to yours!!!!! 💖 it's self-indulgent but it's also for the "same hat" people who looove shit like putting lyrics in your profile bios, status messages, etc and making sure everyone can see what you're listening to on sp*tify or whatever. it's the nostalgia of the "currently listening to" section on LiveJournal for meeee!!! readers can also submit their own fave lyrics to a microsite I'll be putting up to archive the submissions! so it's like we're all yelling about our fave lyrics and songs together!! 🥹🥹🥹 I'll post again when the website is published~ so please look forward to it! ✨ #zine #zinemaking #artzine #lyrics #artistsoninstagram

TEMPORAL MOMENTS 2023 | GenAI Compositions | Video Projections Inundated with binary choices—yes or no, black or white, win or lose— we are left with little room for the subtle nuances and shades of grey that define the richness of human experience. Transposing evocative lines from renovation guidelines, instruction manuals and schematic drawings of windows and smartphones, Temporal Moments invite the viewer to pause and reflect on how we view the world through the windows around us. This artwork was created as part of Dear Home - a site-specific installation which took place at a defunct cinema corridor of Projector X: Picturehouse during Pride Month in 2023. The space and its elements were designed to echo a house's familiar elements. There was a sense of safety and cosiness considered for the overall design. This was a pertinent design choice as the exhibition's main objective was to encourage queer individuals and their loved ones to begin healthy conversations around queer identities, and what familial and parental acceptance could look like. #weare10 #MakeMovingImages #ReStart

Haven’t gone on a family trip for so long (like not just us with the kids alone), and it’s great. Even tho the kids were older, it was nice having help, be it just minding the kids, dealing with their tantrums & bringing them to the loo (this one was great kudos to @miekeist) or offers to help carry things/ check where to go next (so it’s not just all on me - like when I travel w @aalphaanotme 🥲) Kids might not have liked every activity, or even the snow hahaha but they sure enjoyed the company of people being together 24/7 for about a week! Thankful that everyone was tolerant of the at least once-a-day tantrum & the shifting of hotels with our many many luggages 🫠🤭 time to stop eating so much & enjoy our double digit weather 🔥 #familytrip #happytimes #chinatravels #chengdu

“Even if we lose our way, we keep on moving” (AFA D3 MyGO + Ave Mujica Pics) (The Sakiko stage outfit is @sekka1551_cosplay because I cannot tag them) I decided to reserve one post for MyGO and Ave Mujica pics exclusively. (With the exception of the GBC Nina pic 😂) Just like last year, the number of people who showed up to the bandori day stage and ave mujica screening is WAY more than what I initially expected, and I am very happy to see that. It was also nice being able to talk to most of the mygo and mujica cosers. We were only missing Taki and Umiri from having all 10 members. (I saw a Soyo but didn’t manage to get pic) Anyway, after seeing the Ave Mujica screening, I am even more hyped for the official anime airing in January next year.
