Home 🥹⚡️

Having my own safe space inside my home where I can rest and safely be inside my own head has been a mental health game changer. It’s even a place where my cats go when they want to be alone and rest.

I hope that you all know that you are safe here. No matter what she who must not be named says, true @harrypotter fans know that this story is bigger than one person, or even all of us. Hogwarts has always been a place of safety and truth. Don’t lose sight of that.

My own room of requirement. Sometimes I just sit and this room and think about how this was all I wanted when we lived in our tiny apartment.

We would lay in bed dreaming of our own house where we could make things exactly how we wanted. A place where no one could tell us it was too weird, too dark, too colorful, or only talk of resale value. 😤🥴🫩

This room was a labor of love, taking more than a year to put together. There’s still things I want to add or change, and some plans I have for a big change in a few years. But for now, I love my space and the calmness it brings me. 💚
