☀️ Warwick Enterprise presents: Summer Innovation Programme 2021 (14-18 June) ☀️

As part of the Coventry City of Culture 2021, Warwick Enterprise is hosting an enterprise programme that will look at the various themes of this programme through the lens of enterprise. June’s theme is: ‘Sanctuary’ and we’re delighted to be hosting a collaborative event where we’ll have speakers from both The University of Warwick and Coventry University.

During this event we’ll be delving into the theme of ‘Sanctuary’ and how key enterprising Coventry-based initiatives have been developed to support migrants and refugees in (their transitions to) making Coventry their new home.

You’ll hear from a range of people, including:

- Sinead Ouillon, Programme Leader of MiFriendly Cities - The Resilient City Initiative, Coventry University

- Enactus Warwick, a social-impact focused University Student Society, who will share how their Gateway Project has supported the Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre

- Chernise Neo, Founder/CEO of Proof Bakery, set up based on the concept of ‘Real bread rebuilding lives’ and supported by CUSE, Coventry University

- Reem Doukmak, Early Career Fellow, IAS Warwick and Community Participation Officer, Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre at the University of Warwick

- Paul O’Donnell, Theatre maker, co-founder and Producer of Shoot Festival

Secure your spot in what promises to be an engaging conversation on Coventry as a city of sanctuary – an event held as part of the Summer Innovation Programme 2021.
