First time hitting the mitts in over a YEAR.

So much rust, sloppy technique, slow to move. But I’m so happy to at least be able to get boxing back in the routine again.

My hands/wrists/knuckles were so bad that I had to take over a year off from punching, but I got into punching the bag again over the last month.

Still a long way to go from 100%, but blessed to get the chance to work with my team. Part of me just sees how much worse I am from where I was back when I was training/sparring seriously, but part of me excited to build back my boxing with all of the other advancements in my training I’ve made.

I’ve been spending so much more time coaching, doing strength & conditioning, and teaching classes, and it’s so fulfilling to bring boxing to so many.

But the better I can be, the better I can teach. So you already know what we’re gonna do…

BOXING CONDITIONING

Incline running + versaclimber intervals.

I say this often, but I would NEVER make yall do anything j wouldn’t do! I’ve always found the best compliance comes from a coach that walks the walk, so I always do my best to work WITH the athletes I train whenever I can! And I will do that as long as I can!

Nothing fancy here, just good ol’ fashioned hard interval WORK with the team @miiguellaureano @guel135

Former Classic Invitational Champion Miguel Laureano (Manchester ROCS) steps back onto the big stage, battle-tested and training alongside CES pros competing that same night.

Across from him, Assan Glenn (Chick Rosnick Boxing Club) makes his Classic Invitational debut—sharpened in camp with undefeated CES prospect Joseph Chisholm (6-1) @j_eliteee also competing that night.

Two hungry fighters. One stage. One night.
