Today marks my 6th Anniversary of having open heart surgery to replace my heart valves. (A Slide Post) ➡️

It’s very surreal how much time has passed by. I was born with heart disease in 1999 and in August 2020 I had my biggest surgery yet “The Ross Procedure” to repair my congenital heart disease.

I always want to keep my healing journey transparent and raise advocacy for heart disease which is why i’m sharing my story. The book community has been such a healing space for me I’ve become someone who shares new releases and works with publishers along with building a beautiful book community called the Siren’s Book Grotto.

Being a bookstagrammer has definitely been a healing space for me and i’m so happy to everyone for being here. Thank you to every author and publisher for being so kind on my journey! @linapatton @caitsbooks @jesscozziwrites @sara_raasch @bethrevis @sourcebooksfire @harpervoyagerus @oddandbookish @littearary.greatness are just some of the people who have been such a blessing in this community!
