—— in those times in which i feel lost, confused, wrapped up in my own head and fears, i just need you to remind me of my place in the world, i just need you to remind myself to take a break and just breath through it all, i just need you to keep walking on my road of life with my head up without letting myself stay sat on the ground in which i’ve fallen before.
you teach me to laugh and not lose who i am whether the sun is shining or not, and you make me want to keep going, to be better, to never lose my spark and the way i am during the process of becoming. you make me see the world with new shades of colors and yet still find beauty in the corner kept most hidden and darker of life; and you do remind me of life itself, of how it feels to be alive without surviving enjoying every breath i take to then feel a deeper sense of relief while breathing. i will never be able to explain properly what you are for me, no matter how many times i’ve tried to. you’re one of the most vulnerable parts of my heart because you are half of it… and you did gave me a heartbeat back, every day, you truly did. i don’t know if our paths will ever cross but i do know that my path crossed yours, and i’ll be just a fan to you, so i know these will seem just words, but to me? you were everything, you were that story of my life that somehow came back to me without losing its uniqueness, its preciousness and safety. and the fact that i found your name on the pages of my book was already priceless to me to feel like my younger self again, to feel at home, in my own corner, seen and understood without the need of speaking, because your presence talked more than hundreds of books and novels. we may never meet, but platonically, you truly were my guardian angel. thank you for being my saving grace. i love you, always will.
