Last Friday, Uni of the Court (UOTC) returned bigger and better to RMIT’s A’Beckett Urban Square for its second year.

UOTC brings streetball culture to campus through a 3v3 basketball tournament, where elite ballers come to compete from Unis across Victoria.

This year, RMIT Active brought together:
⛹️‍♀️22 teams across 8 Victorian Unis with more than 80 student-athletes competing (including 4 RMIT men’s and women’s teams)
😎15+ RMIT Volunteers in roles of scoring, athlete wellbeing and event delivery
📸20+ RMIT Sports Media team Volunteers in roles such as photography, videography and reel creation
💼3 Work Integrated Learning Interns working in content creation

The energy was unmatched.

From the women’s to the men’s division, every game brought fire - but of course only two could walk away as the true Uni of the Court…

…and Monash took a CLEANNNN sweep in the Women’s and Men’s division😮‍💨

These legends were awarded by none other than @k1ngkyrg1os and @mitch.mang with free entry into KOTC9 World Finals taking place later this year.

Safe to say UOTC is the best Uni 3v3 streetball comp around 🫡

UOTC WILL BE BACK IN 2027.

Stay tuned.

It only gets bigger from here.

FRESH FACES FOR 2026! ✈️

We’re excited to announce the signing of Mikayla Peterson and Charlie Mckinnon for the 2026 BigV season!

Here’s what Coach Deb had to say:

“Adding Mikayla is a massive boost for us. She brings NBL1 experience, length, athleticism, and shot-making that really stretches the floor. She’s dynamic on both ends and gives us another weapon in this Champ Women group

Charlie’s defensive pressure and basketball IQ makes everyone around her better. She’s a guard who disrupts plays, pushes the ball, can score when needed, and competes every possession.”

Looking forward to seeing what Charlie and Mik bring to the 2026 season! 💙
