Before anything else, I want to thank parents and my family. None of this journey would’ve been possible without them. From the long drives, the tough conversations, the setbacks, and the celebrations they were there for every moment. Their sacrifices, support, and belief in me carried me through all 17 years of this game. I owe them everything.

Hard to put into words what this sport has meant to me. Football has been my life for as long as I can remember the highs, the lows, the early mornings, the injuries, the comebacks, all of it. It tested me, grew me, and shaped me into the man I am today.

This game took me from a kid with a dream to a student athlete grinding through college, helping me earn my degree and giving me opportunities I never thought I’d have. I’m forever grateful for my time at Kingsville and will forever be grateful for Coach Salinas and the opportunity he gave me, where so much of my journey started, and for UIW and Coach Killough for allowing me to follow my dreams, where I grew even more on and off the field.

Football gave me brothers for life, coaches who believed in me, and memories I’ll carry forever. Every win, every loss, every lesson, every accolade I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way. I gave this game everything I had. I’ll forever be indebted to this game for everything it’s given me
