Yesterday, we celebrated our soon-to-be one-year-old! This year has flown by fast and it has been the most incredible year of our lives. Genesis, ever since you came into this world you have brought so much joy and love into our lives, making every moment unforgettable. We are beyond blessed and we thank God every day for the gift of being your parents. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you, and know that Mommy and Daddy will be with you every step of the way. We love you Genie Poo 🥹❤️

Vision, Love, and Intentionality 🤞🏾

Thankful for a day that we were able to spend time with family and shower our baby with so much love and joy! It meant the world to us and showed us that we are extremely blessed. One thing we know is that our babygirl is going to be born into a family of pure love ❤️

We can’t wait to meet you babygirl! We love you and look forward to seeing you!! ☺️

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King jr. The university annually hosts a week long celebration to commemorate his legacy. As a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, inc. alongside Dr. King, I’ve had the privilege of coordinating, speaking and serving during the annual celebration.

Throughout the years, Clemson University MLK celebration has continued to grow and hold an essential place as a university celebration for the entire community. The first student-organized MLK Commemorative Service was held at the university in January 1982. The student group known as Men Interested in Alpha (MIA) worked with the Greenville graduate chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. to organize this commemorative observance at the newly renovated Tillman Hall Auditorium. On February 23rd, 1983, Members of MIA became charter members of the Pi Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc here at Clemson University.

Unfortunately, the weather forced the administration to move the day of service virtually; however, I decided to share pictures from years past.
