This is for the person who knows exactly what they need to do but just doesn’t feel it right now.

That was me on Monday.

Six years ago I was on unemployment. This past week I got to host our entire team in Punta Cana to say thank you for serving hundreds of thousands of families. One of the coolest weeks of my life.

Then I got home.

The first morning back, my heart was in my stomach. No energy. No fire. I’d been running on a 10 all week, my sleep was off, and I hadn’t read anything in days. Nothing fresh in my head to get excited about.

Here’s what I’ve learned: motivation isn’t coming to rescue you. You have to go get it.

So I built it on purpose:

• Read the Word of God
• Got to the gym
• Ate clean
• Went to bed early

Inspiration is a muscle. Once it’s firing, it’s easier to keep it firing.

And honestly, what got my feet on the floor wasn’t a feeling. It was people. My team was depending on me, and if I felt this way, some of them did too.

Isn’t it crazy how we’ll let ourselves down all day, but we’ll fight not to let down the people counting on us?

The people counting on me most are at home. I spent a whole day watching movies with my wife. Friday night, Aidan and I hit a card shop and ripped packs like we always do.

Us husbands love to say we do it all for our families, then put work first anyway. I’m still learning to flip that. These moments are how I remember why. Grateful to God for every one of them.

So if you’re waiting to feel it, stop waiting. Do the things that make you feel it. The feeling catches up.

🇩🇴 DR Recap 🇩🇴

I want to give a special shoutout to @americafirsthealthcare for putting all of this together. When I started here earlier this year, I saw all the possibilities ahead and now I’m getting to experience them firsthand.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a company that truly puts its agents, morals, and values first. The growth, the opportunities, and the people I’ve met along the way have been nothing short of amazing.

I can’t wait to see how far we can take this. THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING! 🦅🇺🇸

Punta Cana was such a great trip.

Earlier this year, I joined America First Healthcare not really knowing what to expect. I left a career I had known for years to start over in a completely different industry, but with the support and the people around me, it didn’t take long to feel at home.

Grateful for the people, the memories, and the experience.

Thank you America First Healthcare for an unforgettable trip.

Our first trip outside of the U.S. 🇩🇴

-One thing I will say is enjoy every moment God provides for you. What a blessing is to go on a vacation with my beautiful wife and with an amazing company. Biggest thank you to all of the mentors and great people I am surrounded by. Without them this trip would’ve never happened and neither would the unforgettable time I had. Here is a personal photo dump of what my time consisted of!

Thank you @americafirsthealthcare, @jordansarmo, @danielzubietaa and @enrique_gomez2 for being those mentors in my life 🫶
