10 years of us… and 1 year married to my best friend 🤍

A whole decade of growing together, learning together, and loving each other through every version of who we’ve been. From where we started to the life we’ve built now, I wouldn’t change a single moment it’s all led me to you, my husband.

This first year of marriage has been everything I dreamed of and more. Loving you is easy, being your wife is my favourite thing, and doing life with you is all I’ll ever need.

Thank you for being my safe place, my biggest support, and my constant through it all. 10 years down, forever to go… and I’d choose you every single time 🤍

Mike had a successful birthday social over at the Gigantica Road Lake, managing a new winter record there landing over 75 fish, including this one called Darky, at 50.2lb 😍😍🔥🔥

Hard work pays off 👌

Throwback a couple years ago when me and my good mate @jack_thomas_lee_ entered into the @farlowslake Carp cup for a bit of fun, not the usual style of angling we do. After a bad draw we ended up in an area of the lake called the pads which hadn’t been holding many fish at the time we arrived. A proper buzz for us on the last night when I kicked things off with this lovely 37lb common one of biggens in lake 1 and Jack managed to land himself a 29lb mirror the following morning. They were the only fish to come out from our area with some very decent anglers around us so that was a bonus. We ended up 6th in the Competition so the hard work in a not so favoured peg paid off for us.

What an absolute buzz this was..

A few years ago now and a memory i will never forget was my moment catching one, if not the sort after mirror in the county. A very old fish known as the Sussex Scaley anyone who knows this carp knows it holds a serious amount of respect in the area. A campaign that had been on and off for many years due to a variety of reasons. Knowing she was a very old fish I said to my friends I really need that fish in my album before it’s too late. In may 2023 it exceeded my expectations not long into the season she was in my net. Sharing the moment with all the lads that came over meant a great deal it always makes the moment extra special. Sadly this very unique carp is no longer with us she died a year or so ago.

A little clip from my first session over at Combley a couple years back. It became a bit of a tough one for me loosing fish, and one unit cut off at the net cord testing my patience. But I stuck at it had a good laugh with the boys as always that’s what these social trips are about. Then on the final morning I had redemption and this one made it count a stunning mirror 😮‍💨🐋
