One year ago today, we stood in Bale, Croatia, surrounded by the people we love most, and somehow the whole world seemed to gather around us. We were completely engulfed by a wave of love, joy, music, laughter, tears, and happiness that I have yet to find the words to describe. But I can still feel it.

To everyone who made the voyage, who showed up for us in ways big and small, who helped make the weekend happen, and who supported us from far away — thank you. Having all of you there, in that beautiful place, was one of the greatest gifts of our lives. You brought so much of yourselves to that celebration, and we felt every bit of it.

I’m not sure there was a better party on the planet that day.

What a year it’s been. I love you to the moon, Nicole.
