Much thanks to Lou's Records @lousrecords for hosting an amazing event on Tuesday. Daniel Mansson @ddmansson was selling his new book, For The Love of Skateboarding, and Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero, Tony Magnusson, Christian & Ivan Hosoi, Dave Swift, and Grant Brittain were on hand with their art, skateboards and books. We were also treated to the amazing music of Ray Barbee @r.barbee , with appearances by Per Welinder, Pierre Andre, and so many others.

Mike McGill Skull & Snake felt “cushion”.
This is my first attempt at this, huge inspiration via @feltmistress and @jontofski and VCJ of course @bonesbrigade @thebonesbrigadeaudioshow Loads of fudged stitching and stabbed fingers (don’t look too close or you’ll see all of the mistakes) but still I’m pretty happy with this as a first try. Now I’m gonna finish my Natas kitten and then have a go at making a stuffed toy.

Thank you to all who enjoyed my 8th Annual Barrier Island Beach Brawl surf fishing tournament! The old school vibe bringing family, friends and strangers to live, love and talk about fishing like the days I grew up in continues strong.

The fishing is fun but we also donate all the fish to St Gregory’s food pantry to feed the homeless and hungry and raise money for St Jude’s ( a lot of filleting haha) Always give back and spread love Never forget that in this day and age

35 years ago 💫 I had the honor of doing a photo shoot with Spike Jonze. 📸 One-footed tail grab over a bike rack. I was about 16-17 yrs old. Although I was an unknown, they gave me a full page & name on the cover of Transworld Skateboarding mag, “Years Best Photos” edition (Aug 1991), amongst some of the greats! Thanks to my old friends & BASE Brooklyn crew (Mike Ick, Enos, Rob, etc), Spike & TWS 💯🙏🏼🫡 🛹 💫✨
