Asa Michael Scott was born and became the perfect addition to The Scott Family. It took me a while to announce as I needed to reflect on this journey. This pregnancy was a surprise, it was challenging, and it was full of transitions.
We relocated right before I entered into my third trimester, I was hospitalized multiple times, and we were becoming homeowners in a new place.

My fantastic husband Abreon Scott never left my side. He balanced living out EVERY part of our vows, while maintaining being a present Father to our older children, and starting a new role in aNEW STATE!! 🥹🥹🥹 I cannot thank God enough for my Soul mate!! Baby I Love You with every fiber of my being. ♥️

Grandma Arlene Copeland-Stinson thank you for coming down and jumping into help us for the last month and weeks. This just would not have been as smooth without you and Papa Jeffery ❤️

To our loved ones who knew and covered us in prayer, checking in constantly, just showing love and support I appreciate you and each of you know who you are!!

Back to our rainbow baby Asa, your name means Healer. Asa was one of the last great Kings biblically. We named you with purpose and intention!! Mommy is so honored to be your Mama and Daddy and I will pour all that we can into you and your siblings! Michael is your Godfather's name Mommy's Bestie who you will know as Uncle Mike! Michael Mitchell him and your Godmommy Auntie Karena will love and pour into you like you are one of their own! We love you Young King!! Welcome to the world! You were made from love, and you will live a long prosperous amazing life with a wonderful support system!!! God thank you for this special gift!

2025 owes me NOTHING!!! This year friends became family. Family became strangers. We lost family members (RIP Auntie Wheaty). We lost our fur baby Sophia. We’ve celebrated birthdays. Cheers to 2024! It was a year full of adventures. A year of loss. A year of dedication. We sold my Grandmother’s house. 12/28/23 we lost Taffy🐶. On 05/22/24 fate called and we adopted her sister Sophia🐕. I watched my daughter excel as a cheerleader📣 and track runner🏃🏽‍♀️. Collectively, @mikemitchellbama and I lost a total of 80lbs! GRWMike: This is what happens when men don’t understand the process we go thru to do our hair.

Backstory: I washed my hair this morning. He then says he wants to go out to eat. I don’t have wash and go hair. He SWEARS he can do it for me and it’ll curl up cuz that’s what he does to his hair (his hair is faded and naturally curly). I told him it doesnt work that way for my hair. I guess he wanted to prove me wrong. Now I have to re-wash my hair when all I needed to do was blow dry it. What y’all think about the end result lol.
