Year 3 of fall band done! Super thankful for these opportunities as always, this season was probably the most awarding I’ve ever had. Being out of college, I was able to focus on teaching 4 marching bands, along with elementary music, and I just feel like a totally different and stronger educator than I did in June.

This season wouldn’t have been anything without my peers, so shout out to everyone that I had the pleasure to work with this season, it truly made my experience so fun to the point where it didn’t feel like I’m really working at all. Thank yall.

Off to the next gig, peace!

Nitehearts Year One 🖤

What an incredible last weekend with legendary sets from some of the best artists in the game right now.

All the core memories made with friends old and new and meeting up with so many friend groups was insane! 🥹

Nitehearts lived up to the hype and is definitely gonna make me come back in the future! ✨

Upland Vis Staff 2025. We got this photo since all of the vis staff was there at the same time finally. Proud to be a part of this team working with real like minded and excellent people 😈.

Overall grateful for them of course my other schools as well, teaching band and just teaching in general is definitely my #1 passion. Other pics are just recents mostly of my cat and some friends :p

These past few days, I’ve been reflecting on my rookie season, trying to find the right words… but all I keep coming back to is how deeply grateful I am for the staff who surrounded and supported me this summer.

To AU’s percussion staff, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Stepping into the role of battery major was daunting, but your patience and kindness made all the difference. A special thank you to Cris and DK, the two who have guided me since my early days as a drum major at Upland in ‘23. It meant the world to continue growing under mentors who’ve shaped me from the beginning. To Cris, DK, Ivan, Jon, and Aaron, thank you for pushing me through every tough rehearsal, every hot day, and every moment I thought I couldn’t go on during national tour. Your belief in me helped me grow not just as a leader, but as a person, and made me realize I’m so much stronger than I thought.

To the staff back home, Kevin, Michael, Liz, Joel, and Mr. K, thank you for laying the foundation that brought me here. Running into you this summer reminded me just how far I’ve come, all thanks to your early guidance and belief in me.

To the one and only Jared Geer, thank you for being my biggest supporter this past year. From encouraging my dreams to answering my 1am texts and giving heartfelt critiques, you helped me believe in myself. Ending my rookie season with a hug from you was the most meaningful full-circle moment I could’ve asked for and I truly don’t think I could’ve done it without you.

Finally, thank you to all of AU’s incredible staff. From the brass team’s motivational words to the visual team’s life advice. I’m walking away from this season not only a better leader and musician, but a better person.

More than anything, I’m filled with gratitude. For every lesson, every push, every moment of support. This season wouldn’t have been what it was without the unwavering dedication of the staff who believed in me every step of the way. Thank you for helping shape one of the most meaningful summers of my life.
