- To the GBN soccer community,

Words cannot express how grateful I am for every single one of you. Soccer was, and has been a sport that’s helped me find my style and I’m extremely grateful for all the support and confidence this community has given me. Thank you for everything 🫶

11/2/2024 GBN soccer plays the sectional final. I have been fortunate enough to watch 4 years of really solid playing from our soccer team. Forging memories and taking pictures that I will never forget, and that players have used for things beyond high school. This is the only team I have followed to an IHSA state series and the experience and the atmosphere our students have created in support of this team is beyond my expectations. Soccer is not only a team, but it is a family, the camaraderie I have seen from this team over the years is more than just a team, it is that of a bond that can only be seen through sports. Whether it was @ethan.kling2 driving me to Jakes to get pizza on Tals dad, or @tjy_05 pulling me aside to get some staged screaming pics, or watching the fans storm the field after Chases throw-in at the sectional final last year, or the snow game that got split last year, there are so many memories this team has gifted me, I cannot thank the program enough.
