@cancerbats + @heriotmetal Australian Tour on sale now via @destroyalllines ⚡️Go get em!

https://www.destroyalllines.com/tours/cancer-bats-2027

Cancer Bats are back on Australian shores for the first time since 2024, supporting the release of their new album, ‘Give Me Dirt’ while playing the essential tracks from their impressive career.

For Australian fans who have witnessed their intense live show, and those yet to be initiated, this extensive Australian run is a no-brainer.

Cancer Bats will be joined by very special guests, Heriot, Bristol’s industrial metalcore hellraisers who have been touted by artists, journalists and fans alike as extreme music’s next breakout prospect, with Metal Hammer christening them “British metal’s most exciting new band”. Heriot are supporting their acclaimed debut album, ‘Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell’.

So a couple weeks ago, Dine Alone did one of the coolest shows ever. They got the Cancer Bats to play the little alley way behind the building. I've been to a few shows at dine alone now but this was definitely the coolest experience I've had there. Cancer Bats killed it as always and it was nice to be apart of @mikeybsod last show (for now) with the bats. Of all the times I've seen the bats, this was probably the coolest one. Thanks again to Dine Alone for always hosting such cool events!

🎥 Cancer Bats UK tour kicks off next week! 🦇🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
I had the pleasure of cutting together some promos for them. Take a trip down memory lane with the first “promo” I made in 2022 based off Liam’s call to action for a US Tour video. I’m available for voice over work 🗣️🎙️

Released my new EP “Sleeping Dogs” and was on FaceTime with @rorytaillon when we hit 39 listeners at once, which is a sick thing to catch.

This is at @biltmoretheatre in Oshawa!

Here is a video from the merch table of @thunderqueensband CRUSHING.

So glad I got to see @theobgms! So proud that @dieforcola played drums on my EP too. 🤘❤️

Some times sad girls gotta be sad. But I’m okay!
In a world of highlight reels, sometimes we gotta show the low lights too.

Best anniversary present ever.

Hope you had fun making it to the end of this. Remember, your gay aunts love u. 💋

🦇 when we filed our grants to make Punk Rock Flea Fest happen, our first call was to Liam & Mikey from @cancerbats We genuinely couldnt have dreamed of a better headliner for this wild party, and even though we had bambi legs about booking bands that feel massive, we made it happen 💗

Liam first vended with PRFM London back in 2017 at Call the Office, when we were only a few events into realizing what PRFM could become. He pulled up on a motorbike with 2 gigantic duffel bags of @treadwellclothing strapped on, having just ripped in from Barrie or New Brunswick or somewhere pretty far for that rig. We stayed in touch over the years and just really built a cool friendship with both of Liam & Mike, plus Jaye and Jackie.

Last weekend was also Mikey’s final touring appearance with Cancer Bats, retiring just 2 days later from his touring drummer career and on to artist management. Having that happen on with us on this giant stage we plopped on Dundas meant so much to us ‼️ The Bats have been such an important part of Canadian punk and hardcore for TWENTY YEARS, and getting to share that moment with Mikey, the band, and a street full of hometown Bats fans is something we won’t forget. FR!

❗️FRIDAY NIGHT❗️What a HUGE night for music and community in London. Music is a major part of what keeps ya’ll coming back to our Punk Rock Flea Market London, and we can confidently say that London SHOWED UP to our first FEST!

We’re so proud of our curated Friday festival lineup with Cancer Bats, The OBGMs, Thunder Queens, Status/Non-Status, Ribbon Skirt and Constrictor on ONE stage, in the middle of downtown London, for a FREE show for all of you!! This wild lineup was jammed full of critically acclaimed touring musicians and many folks we can call close friends.

So many of these artists have been close PRFM collaborators, artists, vendors, and part of the fabric of our community for years. Getting to bring everyone together for our 10th anniversary felt rad as hell!!! Between the album releases, career milestones, emotional moments, and old pals, we also can say we’ve never seen Dundas Street rammed with more smiling faces.

We’ve got a LOT more to say and a ton of photos of every single one of these bands individually in the coming days.

@cancerbats album launch & signing at @roughtradebristol back in August 🦇

An extra special one too - as it also was my last show with @mikeybsod before his touring retirement! Cheers for all the memories, Mikey! 🫶🏻

September 26 taught me one hell of a lesson: life is too short!
We lost our friend, our metal dad, Mike, this month. Fuck, it hurt. It still does. Losing him reminded us that none of us knows how much time we have left.
So take the picture. Dance like an idiot. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Go to the show. Say what you feel. Stop overthinking and start living.

Cause life is happening right fucking now.

September broke my heart, but reminded me how lucky I am to have incredible people around me - to laugh, dance, scream along to live music, and make memories together.
Mike, we’ll miss you more than words can say.
We love you. We’ll never forget you. And we’ll keep celebrating life for you.

And cheers to Mikey from Cancer Bats, who played his last shows this month. Thank you for 20 years of music. Forever Cancer Bats.
