The DFH Reunion Weekend is finally here! What began during the pandemic as a way for DJs and music lovers around the world to stay connected has grown into a real community and this weekend, the DFH family is coming together in Chicago for three days of music, friendship and celebration! HOY! PHILIPPINES! I’m honestly still reeling from @filipinxchicago last weekend. Easily one of my favorite sets this year and maybe the most Pinoy set I’ve ever played lmao (if I’m playing budots and closing it out on a line dance, I did my job). This one was for us. Everybody say thank you to Trader Joe’s @traderjoes for being the perfect meet-cute place that lead Celi & Rob to where we are today (peep the TJ’s party favors in the last slide as a tribute) (I took one and it was so good lol)!!!!! A well-made dried falafel display and a little help from Celi’s friend (& now wedding officiant), led to the union of such an iconic, smiley, people-loving couple, and I believe the world is better off because of it. Excitement. Pure joy. Deep respect. Bursting with sunshine and laughter. If I had to distill Celi & Rob’s wedding day into a handful of phrases, these would be it. These two are so incredible as individuals, and so obviously on fire for each other. Every person who came to celebrate them was absolutely on fire for them too! They share a love so profoundly deep for each other, and yet somehow, so other-focused at the same time. I mean look at them blowing kisses to their guests as they recess down the aisle. 😂🥹 A true power-couple in action. Together combined with the whole guest list, they made one giant roar of joy and laughter that lasted all day long and it was remarkable. There wasn’t a moment during the day I didn’t see them with ear-to-ear grins on their faces, and the photos are proof! What a freaking joy it was to experience this day. There’s something special about going home and remembering just how much life has changed. 🥹🖤 This weekend I had the opportunity to attend the @maconomicssummit at the legendary Obama Presidential Center, surrounded by powerful conversations about wealth, ownership, entrepreneurship, legacy and community. Even better was seeing familiar faces & being in those spaces and reconnecting in completely different seasons of life. ✨ Although I wish that I had taken more pictures, the fact that I was too busy being PRESENT, listening, learning, connecting and taking in every conversation and opportunity was enough for me. From the vip welcome reception, the summit, to the all-white yacht party, fireworks on the water and everything in between… huge shoutout to @imrossmac this weekend was one for the books. 💪🏽🤍💫

Spain… 🇪🇸 Explored the streets of Barcelona- around the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, El Born and so much more. Tibidabo Amusement Park gave us a breathtaking view from the top of the city. Checked out a few of Gaudi’s masterpieces like Sagrada Família and Casa Batllo as we enjoyed live music on the rooftop. Can’t forget all the delicious meals we devoured. Hopped on quick plane ride to Mallorca. Had a blast exploring the hidden caves, coves and beaches like Cuevas Del Drach, Cala Del Moro and Platja de Muro. And danced the night away enjoying Spain’s club scene. Memories made with the people we love.
