THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUBMISSIONS! We’ll be releasing the open call soon. But more than anything, I want to thank the team in Yishun who stepped up to make this happen.

MORE CONTEXT NOT AVAILABLE IN THE SLIDES: before starting this pilot, we had already spent months working with LTA and SGPO to figure out how these bus-stop boards could be used. LTA identified eight bus stops we could use, and arranged for the boards to be cleared only once a month so that community contributions could actually stay up. The problem was that this agreement had not reached the ground.

Anyway... READ THE SLIDES TO SEE HOW THE TEAM FIXED IT! And man, they’re so awesome. On Tuesday, the team actually met the contractors cleaning the bus stops & spoke to these hidden workers that maintain our built environment. I really love how public space projects have so much potential to create relationships across sectors.

Fingers crossed that the project works out & we iron out the rest of the kinks in the following weeks. Very excited for what else has already been programmed but want to ensure reliability before we announce even more…

Sharing some feelings about the booth comeback at Pasar Pink.

Starting over again is tough but the items and layout is definitely more intentional. Everything's a WIP!

Also not photographed - a precious moment with a customer.. when they tried on a pink tulip headband and saw themselves in the mirror and started giggling while jumping up and down.. I just know they felt so pretty. I felt the same way when I tried it on for the first time haha. They ended up getting two in diff colours! I'm glad that I can share these moments with y'all. It's also one of th reasons why I enjoy boothing even though the prep is tiring as heck. 🌷
