$I SOLD PLAYA SALON 🖤 ~ 2023 has been wild, there have been some major lows and some absolute highs. I’ve felt worked to the bone, isolated, blindsided, stressed to the max and heartbroken but more importantly, I’ve grown so much ~ I have gained SO many amazing experiences and incredible opportunities. As old doors closed, better ones opened. ILY @redken @powernetworkanz @thebleachedit and @thesecretfoxeducation ~ I bet ya didn’t know that your partnerships came at a time when ya girl needed them most. 🥹🫶 The decision to sell Playa was not an easy one but at the end of the day, I am only one person ~ there’s only so much I can take on. Sometimes more just equals a shit tonne more work; two salons meant that I couldn’t go deeper with @palomaroan_ ~ I couldn’t show up 100% for my team.. it robbed me of time with friends, family, my love and sweet Olive. I spent the better part of Jan to June running on minimal sleep, I spent most evenings in a complete state of ruin. A crying mess, without a fraction of hope ~ I felt so close to wanting to give it all up. I believed I’d failed ~ the crap that came all at once was too much to handle. But it’s interesting ain’t it, I suppose at the end of the day it’s all a matter of perspective. I gave life to a drab little place, created my favourite fit-out yet and flipped it.. passing it onto an angel who I crossed paths with only by chance. Congratulations beautiful @indycolour ~ I wouldn’t have handed this baby over to anyone else. Ily 🖤 So here’s to learning, to new directions and to trusting the natural flow of life. “Failure” ain’t it, it’s how you carry yourself in awful times and it’s how you move onto something better and more aligned to YOU. 🖤 Things aren’t always supposed to go according to plan, duh. @playa__salon ILYSM$
