On International Zouk Day, dancers around the world learn and perform the same choreography. In fact, Kimi, who co-taught this year's choreography, first found us through watching a Honolulu Zouk performance, so.it was especially meaningful for us to see her direct some more dancers through their first ever zouk performance!

Thank you so much for everyone who came out to our Honolulu Zouk 1st and 3rd Saturday to watch this group. Thank you to Christina for working the door, to Brad & Kimberly for the wonderful lesson, to Lynn for helping with set-up and break down, and to everyone else who helped out in ways big and small. Thank you for bringing your friends, for supporting each other, and for cheering so loud!

Thank you to the dancers @leilanimotet , Kimi, @geni007loo , @missjennayree , @my_ria , , @babyboydoshi , @mikories , @kostichs , @kimberly.lovelove for all their hard work learning and practicing the choreography, and especially for making it so fun! It's the most fun ive had doing a choreography in a long time, amd maybe the easiest overall experience!

Special thanks to @michelcrosmedia for the incredible videography from this social!

And, as always, thank you to @paradisetamgo for being our home for years and years.

Want to see us perform?

We are still taking it all in.

Deep gratitude to Chicago’s own House 4 Life for joining us and bringing that Chicago love to our dancefloor as we opened the Soulgasm 19th Anniversary Season.

Thank you to Stacy Kidd the founder of House 4 Life, DJ producers Melvin Meeks and Sonny Chiba for sharing your music and artistry, and to Tiffany Jenkins for gracing us with her beautiful and uplifting live vocals. It was an honor and an absolute pleasure to welcome all of you, including the House 4 Life family who traveled from near and far.

Thank you to DJ Jrama, Miko and Zen for setting the night in motion, and to our event team, @slackkeylounge and everyone on their team for their support behind the scenes.

Thank you to our longtime 'ohana and everyone who joined us there, for welcoming our guests and filling the dancefloor with warmth, energy and love for House. This opening night is one we will carry forward with us as the Anniversary Season continues.

Much mahalo.
We look forward to gathering with all of you again soon.

With aloha. 💛🌺

4 years ago today, I embarked on a journey that I never could have imagined would allow me the kind of freedom I’ve come to find~ in not only being my Sparkly Fairy Unicorn Self for a living~ while Spreading Love & Smiles through Flower Magic~ & offering people the opportunity to be Generous & Kind to one another~ but it also helped me go from being houseless, depressed, & chronically ill~ to finding my Balance, Embodiment, & Hope again 🥹

I didn’t make a post last year on my 3 Year Flowerversary, cuz I somehow wasn’t able to manage it~ so I really wanted to make it a point to Celebrate today 🌸🧚🏻‍♀️🌸 Because, even though I now work far less as a Flower Fairy than I used to, due to the toll it takes on my body & injuries~ it still gives me what I need to live in a beautiful apartment that I have finally unpacked into after 3 years~ where I’m now able to start creating opportunities to share my Healing Music in ways I was never able to before~ when I didn’t have a safe place to call Hohm✨⛩️✨

I’m so deeply Grateful for my friend Cindy & her company, Honolulu Flower Lady, for providing me with these continued opportunities to Shine & Spread the Flower Love~ while keeping the Tradition of Hawaiian Flower Ladies & person-to-person Lei Service alive~ which I feel, truly adds so much of what the world needs more of~ through simple yet profoundly significant Human Connection & Aloha🌸🤗🌸

🌼Mahalo Nui Loa🌼 to everyone who has ever supported this small, local business, & for encouraging me during my long shifts & late nights~ with your generous purchases, sweet hugs, kind words, & for reminding me that you Appreciate me being a Light in the dark spaces ✨🙏✨ I will do my best to continue Shining out there, for as long as I am able🌟🪐🌿🦄🎶🌺🌻💐🌾🕊️
