Voted the best cheesecake in Vancouver, Trees Organic Coffee’s cheesecake is definitely on my list. I would describe their cheesecake as light and melt-in-your-mouth style. Additionally, there are other baked goods and beverages to indulge in.

With a warm and inviting atmosphere, comfortable seating, and ample natural light pouring in through the windows, this cafe is the ideal spot to get work done while enjoying some slices of cheesecake.

Meet Milada Dzevitski, our Internal Sustainability Director this year 💜! She’s in her second year, planning on majoring in English Literature & Creative Writing 📝

We asked her how she was able to connect her passions and interests to her role in the AUS ✨:

“I am very passionate about the environment and being a part of a greater community – which ultimately led me to work directly with the Vancouver Aquarium and Ocean Wise as an educator, teaching people of all ages about environmental sustainability and the consequences our everyday choices can have, but also how our decisions can make a positive impact as well. What attracted me to join the AUS was seeing how they took the initiative to lead in many areas, as well as highlighting what issues we can tackle as Undergraduate students whilst establishing that sense of community I really wanted. “

Since COVID wrecked my amazing birthday plans this year, I wasn’t expecting anything big. My parents surprised me instead. I’ve had a very fulfilling day, and I’m looking forward to dinner and dessert.
