Introducing our final #MEETEXEC Spotlight with the girl who leads the chapter with so much love, Madame President Mila!!! 👑🩷✨

PC: Fall PC ‘23
Hometown: Seattle, Washington
Major: English and Cinema Studies
Former Position: Director of Community Engagement
Favourite Movie: Before I Fall

“Hi everyone! I’m Mila, alpha phis chapter President this year. I am so excited to be on exec this year, as this chapter has given me my best friends and provided me with a home away from home. As chapter President, my role is to work closely with our executive team, and oversee our events and chapter as a whole to ensure everything runs smoothly and effectively! I can’t wait to meet all of the pnms during recruitment, and I am so excited to welcome new women into our amazing sisterhood! Joining Alpha phi was the best decision I could’ve made for myself, as it has provided me with so many connections, amazing friendships, and mentors to take with me into the future! I truly feel so lucky to be able to call the amazing group of women around me my sisters.”

This past week, our Chapter President, Mila, attended Alpha Phi’s 75th Biennial Convention in Arizona, where she connected with inspiring leaders and sisters from chapters across North America. She also had the honour of accepting the #1 Recruiting Chapter award on behalf of our Xi Chapter! 🌵🏆🩷

Here’s what Mila had to say about her experience:
“Being able to attend Alpha Phi’s 75th Biennial Convention was such an amazing and inspiring experience. Being surrounded by so many different women in leadership positions across Alpha Phi, as well as alumni from all across the globe, was incredibly motivating. It was so moving to see just how strong our sisterhood truly is, and how the relationships we create with each other last a lifetime. At convention, I had the opportunity to meet women from chapters all across the world that I never would have met otherwise. The highlight of convention was definitely the friendships I made. Although we came from different backgrounds and cities, we all shared the values and sisterhood Alpha Phi gave us, and connected immediately. I returned home with a renewed passion for our sisterhood within the Xi Chapter.”

Behind every Alpha Phi is a woman who helped shape her into who she is today 🌷🫶🏻

Today we’re celebrating the moms, grandmothers, and all mother figures who have supported us through every stage of life.

Thank you for being our role models and a constant source of love and strength. The kindness, confidence, and sisterhood we value so deeply are rooted in the example you set for us every day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible women we are lucky enough to look up to.
