To the continued, lifelong pursuit and prioritization of movement and play.

To throwing up a ☝🏽, a Lake Texoma hot lap, and a Usain Bolt-esque field day finish line photo op.

See you in a bit, Penticton. There’s work to do…All this didn’t happen overnight 😤🤫

An ode to the 2023 race season, ever changing, challenging, and continually rewarding.
Love it all the same, onward on the road to IM Canada 2024.

I’ll be back. A longer day then I wanted, but hey it happens 🤷‍♂️. Regardless, I've been thinking about this race and this moment since I was a kid, watching Ironman athletes on TV as they went through it and pushed themselves to the absolute limit during the 140 miles. I always dreamed of challenging myself like that. Im already plotting next moves, but for now I’m gonna sit back and enjoy doing nothing with @zitronmedia 🪴. I'm excited to see where endurance sports can take me. Time for patience and learning. Cheers 🍻

maybe hand delivery is a thing of the past, but here at Probikeexpress2088 actually raising the bar to a different level

I guess the days of old of customer service with hand delivery of bikes to ones hotel when a plane is delayed are over!! Except for Probikeexpress, we are old school

That was a fun go. Definitely a lot to learn and build on. 6 weeks until the full 140.6 miles in Tulsa, back to work 🤠 Cheers 🍻

What an awesome weekend of racing! So many people worked so hard to put this race on, and while this was probably one of the most technical courses I’ve ever raced, it was fun-packed and full of epic heckling! 🐔

About 6 years ago was when I learned about cyclocross, and got the opportunity to learn a few things from local legend @sbclintoo. Even after suffering from a few broken ribs after one of our lessons (sorry Clint! 🙈), I was determined to learn how to “do” this crazy sport. While most races I’m bringing up the rear, it’s always with a smile (occasional tongue out) and ready for any handup and heckle the crowd will throw at me.

Thank you to all my fellow racers for making it fun and to all my teammates for your unwavering support when making fun and questionable choices! 😂

Running on a CX course AFTER racing it on your bike…definitely not recommended and justifies a McKayla Maroney face. #IYKYK 😏😂

Having said that, come out tomorrow Sunday for another day of cyclocross fun! On-site registration is available and more info at this link: https://www.coloradocycling.org/sites/default/files/Site_Files/Race_Flyers/2022/CiderX%20Flyer%202022.pdf

Ironman Canada 28.08.22
.
Legendary and iconic race venue did not disappoint, so well put on, support was wonderful, and the course was amazing.
Decent swim, a challenging bike (aggressive first 70-80km maybe paid for later on), and my best run yet came together and chipped away another 10’ for 9th AG/38th overall.

2 immediate Race Takeaways:
1) Always gave a thumbs up to my parents on course ❤️
2) Embrace the post race sno cone

Thank you @petealfino for working with me through all of my challenges and successes. You know what lies ahead, thank you for your patience and guidance to help me continue to better myself and reach what we know I can accomplish.

Whoever said I don’t take ugly race photos, you’re wrong! Thanks to @petealfino, this is an ugly face gem worth sharing. 😂

All I have to say is, coming out of triathlon retirement (momentarily) to race the first ever gravel triathlon in the State of Colorado was well worth the sweat and pain, not to mention the awesome bike course! 😉

2020 was supposed to be its debut, but just like most things, it was cancelled because of COVID. @lancepanigutti and his amazing crew were able to bring it back this year, and like all of their other events, the Stagecoach Gravel Triathlon ran like a well oiled machine in its inaugural year.

Thank you @withoutlimitsco for putting on another world-class event right in our own backyard! Looking forward to next year!!!

Our fabulous timing company was able to get the official results posted to our website!
Thank you to everyone who came out and raced with us today! We always seem to encounter new issues from year to year. But, at the end of the day we’re grateful for all the volunteers and officials that help us work through them! Our athletes are spectacular and we’re so glad you come back year after year!

Link to results in bio and stories!
