THREE PEAT 🏆 🏆 🏆

This past weekend the brothers of @sigepneu had the pleasure of working with @sdtnortheastern, @deltazetanu, and @deltnu in our annual Powderpuff Flag Football Game.

Combined, we were able to raise over $8,000 for various philanthropic causes, including Prevent Child Abuse America, Starkey Hearing Foundation, B+ Foundation, and Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. A big thanks to Allison Riley (DZ), Claire Song (SDT), Jackson Burke (SigEp), and Travis Markowski (Delt) for their incredible job setting up this event. Also shoutout to @miles.pics for the photos of the game.

After a well fought game, the brothers of SigEp and sisters of SDT were able to come out victorious, securing our 3rd consecutive victory. Shoutout to our excellent coaching staff Ben Pastore, Barrett Feagin, Beach Swanson, Max Brownlee, Collyer McLaud, Craig Ottaviano, and Hussain Mahesri as well as all of the girls who participated in the team this year. Good to be a SigEp & SigDelt.

This year, Hui O ʻImiloa celebrated our 41st annual Lūʻau with the theme of Aloha ʻĀina.

Under the guidance of our Kumu Hula, Josh Chang, our dancers preformed traditional hula dances, and our music group preformed live ʻukulele music. (Of course, we also had yummy Hawaiian food)

Each year, our Lūʻau becomes more and more special. This year was no different. Thank you to all of our friends and family who celebrated this amazing evening with us, wether they travelled from their dorms or 2,500 miles from home in Hawaiʻi.🏠🌴❤️

Special shoutout to our wonderful VP of Philanthropy, @francesca.liu, as well as the Philanthropy teams of SigEp, Delt, and Delta Zeta, for their efforts to put together this amazing event each year. “I brought my mom’s old camera with me to campus freshman year. At first, I was just taking pictures for friends - they’d ask, and I’d say, of course. But word got around. One day someone asked if I wanted their job shooting photos at a bar, and suddenly I was at formals, parties, philanthropy events, even graduations.

What I love most isn’t the attention - it’s capturing people in their raw form. Just living life. Because these are the moments we’ll look back on years from now, and they’ll remind us of how fast everything changes.

My path hasn’t been linear - photography for me wasn’t a class or portfolio. It was word of mouth, trial and error, people giving me chances. That feels very Northeastern in a way: outside the box, experiential, always moving.

Where do I want to take it? Honestly, I’m still figuring that out. But I know I’ll keep going. Because nothing beats the feeling of seeing everything come together - a moment, a memory, frozen in time.”

@miles.mu for our Meet The Crew series, featuring the NU Camera design. Shop this piece, along with the rest of our @northeastern collection on our website - link in bio.
