Thanks so much to the Jaco community. 48 team entries, 59 players and pickleball from 845 am until 845 pm.

The tournament was an amazing success. I am absolutely exhausted but so thankful for this group and community. Thanks to everyone who allowed us to borrow things, everyone who donated toys, @⁨Ro⁩ and @SIMONA⁩ for the dj and music work, @⁨Dena Fairbanks⁩ @⁨Sunny Steurer⁩ @⁨Bob Fairbanks⁩ and @⁨Kurty⁩ for your work during the tournament. Team work in product management is based on cooperation and alignment. Having a common understanding and working well together are crucial components of cooperation in product management.
Product teams are more likely to produce high-quality, useful products that are in line with actual consumer needs when they actively listen to one another.

We're using this medium to express our earnest appreciation to all our facilitators throughout the course of the training.

Thank you @miles_jp for the kickstart. It was such an excellent session on the introductory aspects of product management, product manager’s role, and success metrics.

@simplyazodo , the whole training session was enjoyable. Learning about PM tools, scrum rituals, product development, MVPs and so on. It was such an awesome experience!

We had an amazing time with @omozinoeguh , learning how to identify problems that are worth solving, self discovery analysis, and persuasive negotiation. Thank you for your impact.

The training by @tomiwa_odufuwa was so insightful as he shed more light on the product development cycle, MVPs, and managing stakeholders. We really enjoyed your pragmatic approach to teaching.

@mayowalli , It gives a feeling of joy and accomplishment to be trained by a person who has diverse skills and knowledge all round. We are still yet to get over your extensive training on PRDs and user stories. We can’t wait to get started.

Thank you @theegbunadivine for the practical session on design grooming, wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and design prints. The discussion was filled with so much knowledge.

@demikuyoro taught with deep insight and specificity. It was an enlightening session on success metrics, QA testing, Release notes, and user guides. Thank you for this session!

Thank you @tflux2.0 for diving deep into APIs, building a simple API, endpoints, and a brief demo on postman. Thank you for this impactful teaching.

@ao_abraham your session on post-production, release plan, marketing, and growth was very engaging and it was worth paying attention to. Thank you for the excellent training session.

@esammy1807 Thank you so much for being a wonderful facilitator. You showed us how much work needs to be done on rebranding our profiles so as to position ourselves to land a PM job.

@nonyelimekpe . Thank you for showing us how important soft skills are in managing workplace expectations. The training was so rewarding and helped us have a better understanding of our professional role.

Thank you all for your time!!

Hello👋 MONDAY

Here’s a recap of how it went down at Ideation during the weekend (Week 2).
We still can’t get over the session we had with @simplyazodo on Saturday, here are few recap of the lectures;

A Squad is a group of people in a Scrum.
A Scrum team is made up of three different actors;
Scrum master
Product owner
Development team
- A product backlog is like a parking lot of all the ideas and plans you want to work on. It can write all these ideas anywhere; on a Google sheet or in sticky notes on a wall
- A Sprint backlog comprises of the proposed plans from the product backlog you can work on immediately.
- Daily Scrum is a meeting comprising of three main things; what I did yesterday, I plan on doing today and the problems I'm facing that would stop me from fulfilling it. Should not be more than fifteen minutes.
- Sprint goal: from the Sprint backlog, pick one which stands as the most important thing your team would be doing and would be successful if it is achieved.
