Artist and Provocateur

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Recently I have had the great privilege to paint at @ilpalmerino in the foothills of Florence, Italy. Gaining the opportunity to paint where so many masters in the arts have been before. Even working where great artists and authors of the past and present have harnessed their crafts.

The chance not only to paint here, but to also exhibit my work, has truly made a greatly enriching and reflective experience.
Being exposed to everything from the City to the countryside, it soon became a place that felt like home.

Furthermore, to do this alongside artists that I feel incredibly honored to know, has only made this experience all the more remarkable for me.

I feel that I am leaving this residency with a more refined focus on the places I see my work, and coming to each piece I make with a greater intention to support my vision.

I learned a good deal from my time here, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for each of us!!!

It was cold like winter today, but I was glad to step outside and check out @milesladin’s art installation “Hurts Whole Lot” at @hudson_guild. Afterwards, I headed to @rococodesignursallie at the space’s newest address to visit the work husband @vedazzling who was doing an in-store appearance supporting her luxury home candles. 🕯️
