Our brothers recently had the amazing opportunity to attend our organization’s national convention, the Zenith, in Chicago. Each member gained valuable experiences and important connections on their trip, and here’s what some of our brothers had to say.

“The Zenith Officer Institute was an amazing opportunity to not only improve our own chapter but connected us to Phi Tau chapters from all over the country. We found brothers with similar mindsets and goals for their chapters and clicked as friends instantly. The Officer tracks and group seminars really helped dive into depth on how to execute my position as President to the best of my abilities. Utilizing skills like task delegation, quantifying goals, oversee, and even how to handle myself under stressful situations. Truly grateful for the experience and can’t wait to implement what we learned to our own Beta Psi Chapter.” - Arya Farkhondeh, President

“Some of the biggest things I gained from the Zenith were about personal growth and what it takes to build a better chapter. Personally, I was reminded of the importance of my position and how my daily actions can affect not only my future, but everyone else’s as well. However, I shouldn’t feel too pressured to shoulder all the responsibility myself. I should focus on small consistent steps to not overwhelm myself, and never be afraid to ask for help because that builds trust and connection with the rest of the brothers. As for the chapter itself, it’s very important to have a clear, intentional direction that focuses on our chapter current needs and important values. It requires a very crucial recruitment and new member process that builds more capable leaders after each year that follows. The seeds that are nurtured and cared for now will be beneficial for the chapter way beyond the years we are here.” - Alan Hua, Vice President
