Watch till the end for the funny part! 😂

Jokes aside though I had such a blast at the @milestonesbattle dancing to the live band 🥹

Incredible musicians, it was such a blessing to create together and allow art to be a bridge between sound and movement.

I feel the happiest and most alive in these spaces.
Spaces where I can be playful, open, creative and goofy like a little kid. These kind of exchanges are SO needed and I’m beyond grateful I got to be part of one recently.

I think naturally but also very intentionally I turn everything into a playground.
That feeling of not knowing what you’re about to create…
That mystery is so fascinating to me.

That’s one of the reasons why I LOVE DANCE so much. I get to explore my inner world in real time but as if I’m a little kid again. And that battle was so refreshingly challenging for the heart and the art. I was able to tune into a different frequency. That’s what art does.

Ugh, it’s almost orgasmic. The feeling of being so connected to yourself, your body and expressing in the now moment. I’m honestly in awe that I get to experience that at all.

Feeling deep gratitude for my body and my ability to move as I write the caption now.
God is good.

Thank you everyone for cheering and hyping me up! 🩶

Thank you @tony_tnz for filming my rounds.
As dancers I think it’s always like a Christmas gift when somebody films us and send us our rounds. 🥹🙏🏼

The second battle I’ve now participated in. This was my pre selection round and I had a huge smile on my face the entire time. What an incredible evening and experience to dance and exchange with live musicians. The music was food for my soul thank you so much!

thank you all for this amazing second edition of @milestonesbattle
the connection of the arts is one of the best ways to be together as a society, and in this insanely harsh times few things are more important than connect and being together.
Thanks to @schouwburgconcertzaaltilburg for the space, @tagencytilburg , @artfacttilburg , @byou.tilburg and the great @aniso.kariye for helping us making it possible. Thanks to the band and every dancer, our MC @siobhs_oc and to @petra_kruselj for being the greatest organizer I have worked with. To all the team of social media, design and audiovisual.
And to the great @99.blank with whom we started the whole process, we are waiting for you bro!
This is just the beginning!

🔥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞!🔥
